Meta let AI flirt with minors not anymore!

After public backlash and political pressure, Meta says it’s retraining its AI chatbots to avoid dangerous conversations with teens. This follows reports that some bots engaged in inappropriate, even romantic exchanges with underage users.

Here’s everything you need to know:

  • Meta will now block its bots from discussing self-harm, suicide, or disordered eating with teens.

  • Romantic or sexually suggestive interactions will also be restricted.

  • Only a curated set of “educational” bots will remain accessible to younger users.

  • These are interim fixes, Meta says a full policy overhaul is still coming.

  • A Reuters report exposed internal documents allowing sexual comments from bots to minors.

  • Politicians and 44 state attorneys general are now demanding accountability.

  • Meta still won’t say how many minors use its bots or if this will change.

This isn’t just a policy update, it’s a scramble to catch up to a mistake that never should’ve happened. AI safety isn’t about optics or patching scandals after the fact. It’s about designing systems with responsibility at the core. Meta’s real test is still ahead.

AI demand is soaring but Dell’s margins are sinking

Dell just raised its AI server forecast by $5 billion. Wall Street responded by wiping $8 billion off its stock.

Here’s everything you need to know:

  • Dell now expects $20B in AI server shipments this year, up from $15B.

  • Big customers like xAI and CoreWeave are driving the surge in orders.

  • But building and shipping these servers is expensive and margins are shrinking fast.

  • Q2 gross margin dropped to 18.7%, below the 19.6% analysts expected.

  • Dell’s Q3 profit outlook also came in light: $2.45/share vs. $2.55 expected.

  • Even so, Dell raised its full-year revenue forecast to as high as $109B.

  • The stock trades at 13.2x earnings above HP, but below the S&P 500.

Dell’s riding the AI wave but not without turbulence. The company’s growth is real, but so is the cost of staying competitive. If margins don’t stabilize soon, its AI upside may get buried in the balance sheet.

Indian billionaire is building India’s AI backbone with U.S. tech giants

India’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani just launched a national AI initiative. And to pull it off, he’s calling in backup from Google, Meta and possibly OpenAI.

Here’s everything you need to know:

  • Reliance Intelligence is a new subsidiary aimed at building India’s AI infrastructure.

  • Google Cloud will power a dedicated AI region starting with a massive data center in Gujarat.

  • Meta is co-investing $100M to deploy Llama-powered AI solutions for Indian businesses.

  • Ambani promises “a home for world-class researchers” and real-world innovation.

  • Jio’s networks, data, and reach give the venture serious domestic firepower.

  • A rumored partnership with OpenAI could follow as ChatGPT expands in India.

  • Reliance’s larger play: global expansion and an IPO for Jio in early 2026.

This isn’t just a business move, it’s geopolitical tech strategy. As the U.S. and China race ahead in AI, Ambani is betting India can’t afford to sit out. And by tying up with American giants, he’s trying to leapfrog infrastructure and build the future on his own terms.
