Canva’s New AI Tool Might Replace Your Video Editor

Canva just launched a new AI tool that makes video creation feel like writing a text. It’s called Create a Video Clip, and it’s built to save you hours.

  • Just type a prompt, and Canva turns it into an 8-second video with synced audio.

  • It’s powered by Google’s Veo 3, an AI model known for crisp visuals and smooth motion. No more bouncing between apps; write, design, and now shoot videos, all inside Canva.

  • You don’t need editing skills or budget; anyone can make pro-looking videos. Add branding, tweak text, or layer music right in Canva’s Video Editor.

  • It’s voice-enabled too, making the whole process feel like a natural conversation. Canva Shield filters out harmful content so you can create confidently and safely.

This isn’t just a cool feature, it’s a shift in who gets to be a creator. As AI tools like this get easier to use, the only barrier left is knowing what you want to say. Canva just made saying it a whole lot simpler.

AI Tools Behind Today’s Most Dangerous Hacking Kits

Two underground AI tools, sold as “uncensored” hacking assistants, were built on top of Grok and Mixtral. That’s according to new research from Cato Networks and it’s raising serious concerns.

Here’s everything you need to know:

  • These tools mimic chat based AIs but are stripped of safety features and guardrails. Known as “WormGPTs,” they can generate phishing emails, malware, and more on demand.

  • Cato Networks traced two variants back to Grok (xAI) and Mixtral (Mistral AI).

  • Hackers wrapped commercial models with prompts that suppress security restrictions. Despite this, traces of the original models and system prompts were still exposed. These tools are sold on forums like BreachForums, with prices reaching up to $5,700.

  • No comment yet from xAI or Mistral on how their models ended up in these tools.

This isn’t just about rogue hackers, it’s about how easily commercial AI can be repurposed when oversight fails. If safety tools can be bypassed this easily, we’re not ready for what’s coming next.

Adobe Firefly Is Now on Your Phone

Adobe’s Firefly app just landed on iPhone and Android. It’s built to bring generative AI tools straight to your pocket with seamless Creative Cloud sync.

Here’s what dropped:

  • Firefly now lets you generate images, videos, and edits using just text prompts.

  • Features include Generative Fill, Expand, and both text-to-video and image-to-video tools.

  • You can choose from Adobe’s AI or third-party models like Google’s Veo 3 or OpenAI’s image tools. Everything you create on mobile syncs instantly with your desktop via Creative Cloud.

  • Some tools require Firefly credits, bundled with Adobe plans or sold separately. The app mirrors the desktop layout but is optimized for mobile editing on the go.

  • Adobe’s Firefly Boards now also supports remixing video clips with AI collaboratively.

Mobile AI tools are no longer watered-down versions of desktop powerhouses. Adobe’s move shows the future of creative work might not be tied to a desk at all.

Meet Alexa+: Built with a Shockingly Smart AI Stack

Amazon just dropped a bombshell: Alexa has been totally reengineered using a staggering arsenal of AI tools. What started as a smart speaker is now aiming to run your entire home.

Here’s everything you need to know:

  • VP Daniel Rausch likened Alexa’s evolution to a chick cracking out of an egg; cute, but loaded with ambition.

  • Alexa has gone from playing “Baby Shark” to orchestrating your daily life with near superhuman efficiency.

  • Behind the scenes, Amazon is using generative AI across the board; building, testing, and fine-tuning the assistant.

  • The new Alexa+ boasts contextual memory, improved voice recognition, and more personalized smarts. Rausch imagines a future where Alexa is embedded in everything you own.

  • That’s not just convenience, it’s a new kind of ambient intelligence. But as Amazon automates your home, the question looms: who’s really in control?

This isn’t just Alexa 2.0, it’s a blueprint for how tech giants want to weave AI into daily life. Whether it’s empowerment or overreach? Let’s ask Alexa… then decide for ourselves.

Thanks for reading…

That’s a wrap.
