Hello, Prohuman

Today, we will talk about these stories:

  • Gemini 3.8 Flash pushes deeper into coding

  • Retailers are getting Claude agent blueprints

Holiday Creator Calendars Are Filling Up. Q4 Panic Is Optional.

Creators lock in their holiday content calendars 90 days out, before most ecommerce brands finalize their commission strategy and way before Black Friday and October deal events.

Get ahead of the seasonal rush with The 90-Day Holiday Sprint, a practical guide for brands that want creators driving holiday demand while competitors are still recruiting:

  • Structure commissions by lifetime value, not just first-order margin

  • Lead with the right products so creators promote with confidence

  • Recruit and onboard creators with a day-by-day plan for the first 30 days

  • Read performance early and pull program levers by Day 60

  • Brief creators with a holiday checklist before calendars fill up

Your 90-day countdown starts now.

Gemini 3.8 Flash is getting more useful at real work

Google found a critical vulnerability in under two hours.

Gemini 3.8 Flash is Google’s third Flash release in six weeks, with better coding and reasoning at the same $0.75 per million input tokens. Its Cyber version also topped 70% success on Google’s internal vulnerability-discovery benchmark spanning 20 programming languages.

The interesting part is reliability. Google is clearly pushing Flash toward jobs where an AI has to keep working through a problem, use tools repeatedly, and produce something that can actually ship.

That could make smaller, cheaper models much more practical for software teams that need hundreds of these tasks running every day. Cybersecurity may be the clearest early test because bad output is easy to spot when the patch fails.

How often will it hold up outside Google?

Adobe is buying small teams with useful AI workflows

This was a six-person company.

Adobe acquired Indian startup Rilo, which built AI workflows for competitor research, content distribution, sales-call analysis, and brand visibility across platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. Rilo raised $1 million at a $10 million valuation, and more than 10,000 people tried the product before Adobe bought the team and some of its technology.

The team size matters. Adobe appears willing to buy very small startups when their tools can plug directly into products used by large marketing teams every morning at a laptop.

Rilo will now shut down, while its technology could feed Adobe’s broader push into automated marketing alongside its $1.9 billion Semrush acquisition.

How many teams this small are acquisition targets already?

AI shopping agents are becoming a sales channel

The conversion numbers stand out.

Anthropic is giving retailers blueprints for Claude-powered shopping and merchant agents that can recommend products, compare options, and add items to carts.
Adobe says AI-driven retail traffic converts 60% better than other sources, while Anthropic says one partner saw cart sizes rise 30% to 35%.

That gets retailers’ attention. If those numbers hold through the holiday rush, AI agents could move from a site feature into something merchandising teams actively optimize alongside search and email.

The more interesting shift may happen behind the screen, where merchant agents can suggest inventory changes, pricing decisions, and marketing campaigns throughout the day. For now, Anthropic is keeping purchasing decisions in human hands.

The next question is whether shoppers actually prefer buying this way.
